Our continued growth has allowed us the opportunity to offer a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse position for an independent living facility. We are offering a stable part time position at an independent living facility with elderly, long-term clients for two shifts daily. Shifts are 0700-1000 and 1830-2100. LPN license, references, and current CPR required. Small case load and minimal documentation on a user-friendly EMR system.
The LPN is responsible for medication administration, performing routine procedures and assessments, and coordination of care with other providers and family members. This is an independent and responsible position serving a small group of friendly clients in the Aurora area with dedicated hours. Join us and work with an energetic, close-knit team with great support and a passion for caring for our seniors in their environments. This position offers opportunity to develop long-lasting relationships with our clients. Must be accountable and able to function autonomously with support in the independent living facility environment, and possess good communication skills.
1. Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
2. Currently licensed as a licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the state.
3. Possess and maintain valid CPR certification.
4. Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
5. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
6. Licensed driver with automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization requirements.
